It’s so interesting how over the years I’ve come to realize more and more the things that have influenced my personal style journey. I grew up watching my grandmother and godmother maintain a collection of jewelry and accessories, and as I get older I see how those moments spent absorbing their style excellence show up in who I am today. This month, I had to pull out a few of my favorite vintage pieces to give them the attention they deserve.
It's just the design details for me. Also shoutout to the cameo from my grandmother's gold ring circa 1980s.
I found these Ann Taylor sunnies from the 90s at my favorite thrift store in 3rd Ward Houston about 10 years ago - and they're still going strong.
I never really paid that much attention to thrifting pins until a few years ago... and thank god I did...
